Don't just see the Eiffel Tower.
Wake up to it.

Skip-the-line tickets, sparkle schedules, sunrise spots — and the secret most visitors learn one day too late: the best view of the Tower isn't from the Tower. It's from a room five minutes away.

"Same city. Same night. One decision apart."

Every hour, after dark

20,000 bulbs. Five minutes.
The show day-trippers never see.

At 10 PM sharp she begins to sparkle — the whole street below goes quiet. Day visitors are already on the metro. You're on your balcony, glass in hand, close enough to hear the crowd gasp.

Next sparkle: 22:00

Counting down Paris time…

22:00 ✦23:00 ✦ final5 min eachlights out 23:45

How many sparkles will you miss?

4 minutes away: catch the 22:00 sparkle from your balcony, stay up for the 23:00 finale, and be in bed six minutes after the lights go out.

Stay for the sparkle

Your perfect Eiffel day

From empty Trocadéro to the last sparkle

The itinerary our concierges give every guest. Read it carefully — every line quietly assumes one thing: your bed is in the 7th.

06:40

Sunrise at Trocadéro. Population: you.

At 11 a.m., three thousand people fight for this photo. At dawn it's you, the pigeons, and her — golden light, empty esplanade.

6 min walk from your hotel

08:50

Croissants on Rue Cler

Market-street breakfast two blocks from your room — or skip the queue entirely with the rooftop breakfast facing the Tower.

2 min walk

09:30

First summit slot — the thin-crowd window

The 9:30 slot is the quietest of the day, and painless only if you wake up nearby. Your skip-the-line tickets are waiting at reception.

4 min walk, zero metro stress

14:00

Base camp: nap, bags, regroup

Toddler asleep, phones charging, picnic kit collected at reception. Day-trippers are queuing for lockers; you have a room 400 m away.

You're already home

19:30

Golden hour picnic on Champ de Mars

Baguette, brie, a blanket and the Tower turning amber. Your hotel's picnic basket is free on your second evening.

5 min walk

22:00

The sparkle — from your balcony

Five minutes of 20,000 flashbulbs. Repeat at 23:00 if you're still up. No metro math, no taxi apps, no running.

0 min — it's outside your window

23:06

Home. Six minutes after the lights.

Someone is running for the last RER right now. You're brushing your teeth with the window open.

In bed by 23:15

The worst souvenir

You can't buy it in any gift shop.
Thousands take it home anyway.

It's the thought "we should have stayed the night." It doesn't fit on a shelf. It just shows up every time someone asks about Paris.

"You're flying thousands of miles for this view.
Don't sleep forty minutes away from it."

Honest answers

Do summit tickets really sell out?

Yes — online slots for the summit lift regularly disappear 2–6 weeks ahead for June–August and holiday weekends. That's why we pre-buy a daily guest allocation: hotel guests can get summit access even on officially sold-out dates.

Is an Eiffel-view room actually worth it?

Honestly: not for everyone. The Tower is only lit after dark, side-view rooms cost €30–60 less, and if you'll spend every waking hour out in the city, save the money. But if this trip is about the Tower — the view room replaces taxis, queues and timing stress with a front-row seat that works all night. East-facing rooms on floors 5–7 are the sweet spot.

Can I see the sparkle from my room?

From full-view and balcony rooms, yes — it runs for 5 minutes every hour after sunset, last one at 11 PM (1 AM in summer), lights out 15 minutes later. Guests in east-facing rooms literally watch it from bed.

What if it rains on my visit day?

The summit closes in strong wind and the view disappears in low cloud. Ticket dates are painful to move — unless you booked a stay with us: guests reschedule included tickets free, and with your room 5 minutes away you simply go the next morning instead.

Is the area safe at night, after the last sparkle?

The 7th arrondissement is one of the calmest districts in Paris. The walk from the Tower to our partner hotels is 4–8 minutes along lit, populated streets — a different story from a 52-minute metro ride with a change at midnight.

When do I pay? Can I cancel?

Most rooms: free cancellation until 48 hours before check-in, and you pay at the hotel. So you can lock the view now, and decide the details later — your flight, your tickets, your plans.
